Also works on samsung. Go to camera > click on settings at top right > video recording quality

Make videos on HDR. That bumps up the quality A LOT! Now I only upload with HDR to my channel in 4K. It looks amazing.

Just tap the numbers in the upper right hand corner and you can change frame rate while still in camera 🎥. Or, tap the HD or 4K next to the numbers to swap back and forth. I always use 4K 60 unless shooting for B roll where I use HD 1080 120fps. Just proxy the project at a lower resolution to speed up post workflow and export at a higher.

Honestly, no idea why I didn’t check my settings earlier, each time I had to manually push it to 4K/24fps I kept telling myself I should probably look into it. Months later, thanks to this short, I finally did. Aggravation solved 😆

I did not know about the setting. My setting was on 720 hd at 30 FPS now is on 4K 60. I have a iPhone 11 Pro Max. Thank you so much for the information I am so very happy now.😊💗

Great info... but here's the problem? Those 4K file sizes are HUGE. Your editing computer needs to have a ton of RAM to render it. Also, your internet "upload" speed better be super fast or it'll take forever to get the video uploaded to youtube.

One thing that people don’t realize is your smartphone is capable of shooting some really amazing footage. Don’t use the excuse that you don’t have a professional camera or microphone. Your iPhone + an external mic is plenty for a channel! If you say otherwise, you’re just making excuses! 🤷🏻‍♂️
