This is a HUGE backwards move from Apple. I just want to search and filter my own music. In a list. And sort by album, release date etc. But no... to have to use a command to pull up a filter box to filter when one existed before seamlessly integrated into the header. I go to some other view, come back to my songs and the filter box is gone already. I have to pull it up again. Ridiculous.

Thanks you for this video! although I can't see what's good about hiding this essential search box in a sub folder. It hardly takes up any room on the screen and should always just be there as part of the GUI, you know... like it always has been for years! What's apple going to do next? hide the Play button?

I don’t know what version u have. Mine only brings up songs that are in Apple store. I merely want to play or edit stuff I own.

I've just recently bought a new iMac because mine was getting old (about 10 years) and I absolutely hate what they have done to the app. Is there any way to get rid of all the album covers and absurd amount of dead space in the lists and keep it like the old iTunes? When clicking Songs I get the neat list I've always had. But it doesn't filter the way it used to.

Once I've searched my library, how can I shuffle through ONLY the songs I've searched for rather than my entire library? It seems to me like this feature was removed for some reason and it's driving me crazy
