Thanks for posting. I struggle with finding articles for my assignments. I use related articles and cited articles but I never understood how to use keywords. I’ll try out the AND, OR, NEAR, in my search and see if I find articles I can use!!

Hey Dr Yonis, I just had a few questions for you:


1. How important do you think it is to learn programming for statistical analysis (R or Python) as opposed to using programs with built in features (Excel or SPSS)?


2. How did you go about finding a supervisor for your PhD? I am looking to apply for my honours soon and my PhD following that and have been having some trouble finding potential supervisors? Any tips on how to contact them or for formatting an email to them? (This might make a really helpful video!)


3. I'm not sure how the UK system works but in Australia an honours year is usually required for entry to a PhD program. Did you do an honours year and if so, do you have any tips for new student researchers?


4. What is your field of research?
