You've definitely installed the cadence sensor wrongly. This is probably contributing to the signal dropouts that you experienced.
The sensor should be mounted lengthway along the crank, with the band the other way round. That way if any part of the band breaks you still don't lose the sensor.

You installed the band on the cadence sensor incorrectly. It should attach length wise, with the middle band slotting in its own groove.

I had an indoor trainer mount for my birthday yesterday. Can’t wait to use it but it’s not a Bluetooth compatible one or anything, so I’m considering getting this so that I can see my average speed/ top speed/ distance etc etc then get it on Strava. Will this gadget do all those things I’d want? I don’t have Zwift!

I’m having a problem with both sensors the gps and watch do not pick up either unit while on bike. Brand new sensors, new batteries in both, is there a battery orientation that is required, I’ve switched them twice thinking I reversed them, still no pickup? 3:53

Fyi Zwift does not recognise the runs on my Garmin watch but i do hope it can pick up the Garmin Speed and Cadence sensor.

I'm new in the indoor bike training and I need some help. I have the Forerunner 235 it has the option of the indoor cycling but doesn't show distance, speed or cadence.What can I do from here? Please any help will do.I'm stuck.

Wonder why connect speed sensor to the gps watch. The watch shows your speed without any extra sensor.
