SCUBA Diving:
Diving underwater is something that has attracted mankind since they figured out that there was a living world under the seas.

Fun Fact:
SCUBA is an abbreviation for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus, in other words, equipment to allow us to breathe underwater.

How does it work?
You have tank of compressed air on your back and a mechanical system which reduces the pressure of that compressed air to the pressure surrounding you, whatever depth you are at, so you can breathe underwater at varying depths like you would on the surface.

Important:
The air that is in the tanks is compressed air; so parts nitrogen, parts oxygen, and some other gases. Many people mistakenly believe that the air is pure oxygen, but that would actually poison the divers!

Do's:
Breath continuously and always make a safety stop
Boyles law affects you every time you enter the water. Air spaces in the body are subjected to pressure and volume change, in direct proportion to your depth. Without doubt

Don'ts:
Never dive outside of your comfort level
When going down, the pressure increase and the lungs are pushed down. With the pressure more deeper and lower, it needs more amount of air to replenish it and an increase in air intake

A fundamental rule of SCUBA diving is to "never hold your breath."
