Beginner's Guide To Buying Lightsabers (2020)

This video is not sponsored by any of the lightsaber companies, sabersmiths, or fontmakers shown. This is meant to show what sorts of things that people commonly talk about in the saber community, and things you will see when going to purchase a lightsaber.

This is not an all-inclusive guide, as there are so many more aspects than just these, but the points I tackle in this video are some of the more common ones that you will encounter. I will likely create more videos about things to look out for when buying lightsabers in the future.

My first saber had a proffie and I wasn't prepared for the learning curve, but it really is an amazing little board that can do anything. Definitely for the hardcore user... but that new CFX is a dream. 😍🔦

I prefer purchasing the stunt sabers because I like to make movies with them and adding sound in post is just more convenient than having sound IRL

Awesome video dude! You really covered everything, and in pretty great detail. My first saber was a Sabertrio Reaver neo and it's amazing. But now as I've learned more and my interest has shifted, I'm on the hunt for a good stunt saber to practice my swings and spin tricks.

Just wanted to say thanks for the videos, even though I commented before on another video that I thought you were a little hard on ultrasabers, I recently purchased from the pach store because of your video recommendation, I bought the ultimate works rvs darth revan with neopixel and proffie board for 369 after tax 400 which is insanely cheap for what I got so thank you so much for turning me onto pach store. I am currently gutting out all my ultrasabers now and upgrading them to proffie boards and maybe one day neopixel . So I dont think I'll ever buy a ultrasaber again unless it's for a empty hilt. I love the smooth swing and cant go back to a soundboard without it. I also had no idea neopixel had a heavy grade blade option either which will probably be my go to because I do light dueling. Anyways Thanks for the information bro.

The main reasons why I want to buy a Neopixel saber is the scrolling effect and the detachable blade. Correct me if I'm wrong, Neopixel lightsabers are the only ones that have those effects.

My Neopixel Aeryn from Sabertrio is currently being shipped to me! It should be here on my birthday on Wednesday. I was shocked it had already shipped as I ordered it less then 2 weeks ago when Sabertrio's main site reopened. Great video keep up the great work.
