Christopher Lee was the son of a London banker and a countess of Italian descent. Distantly related to General Lee of the American Civil War on his father's side and a descendant of Charlemagne on his mother's side. "Carlomagno" had a curve saber in the battle and this was the reason that Count Dooku had one.

Dooku has always been my favorite villain since I saw episode 2 in 2002 ( I was in 2nd grade) always thought he was a more sophisticated or powerful villain due to his elegance and curved saber

Always loved the curved hilt. It fits so much better into your hand allowing quicker movements. Surprised more Jedi/Sith didn’t adopt this design
