What I love about these reviews is that the host doesn't just go into the speeds and feeds, but really paints a picture. I feel like this channel isn't a "review" channel, the delivery is more like a friend giving you their opinion.

It is a myth that Windows machines do not start with 8GB RAM for base models. I researched, and premium Windows ultrabooks all start with 8GB! These include; XPS 13 Plus, Galaxy Book3 Pro, Surface Laptop, etc. HP start at 16GB on its 2-in-1s, but the prices reflect the higher RAM/SSD (Spectre). So I wonder why some comments suggest this is only an Apple thing, as it clearly is not?

I think display is still quite good on this laptop for day to day task. While the mini led displays are a step up that seems to really only make sense for someone who either wants an upgraded display or does hdr content daily. Of course the pro series is a step up in terms of performance, but the 15 inch is perfect for someone who wants a light weight laptop with good performance, good battery life and want Mac OS.

The 15" Apple Silicon Air was EXACTLY the computer I was waiting for. I can't tell you how much I love this thing. I got the 16gb ram and 1TB SSD, so I have plenty of room to stretch out and keep this thing a nice long time. Great, no-fluff review as always Lisa, thank you!

Great review, at around $1, 500 it's going to be a choice for many between this with more RAM or an open box M1 Pro 14 / 16 MBP....

The screen resolution is 2880x1800 plus an extra 64 pixel strip across the top. So, the fully usable rectangular space is 16:10.

Love the new M2 Air series look and feel wise, but 8 gigs of ram in a 15 inch laptop in 2023 is downright crazy. 😅

I must say that I was very happy with my i5 11" from 2011, which I still use for Debian Desktop. I got an 13" M2 Air, which will get upgraded to an 15" later this year.
