@1:18 you mention Batman costing thousands in property damage and leaving super villains alive in order to have foes and challenges, but that could be said about any super hero whether DC or Marvel so #10 shouldn't be included specifically about Batman

I thought the Contingency Plan theory was more of a fact than a theory. His aim is to create a Gotham where Batman is not required. The World doesn't necessarily need a Batman, it does, however, need something to keep a rogue Batman in check.
