20:30 I think the Santa Fe driver wanted to parallel park, but FSD didn't give the Santa Fe enough room for that maneuver. This is a pretty extreme edge case.

Tonight it was pouring rain. I’m on FSD v12.5.6.3 HW4. Tonight’s drive had 0 disengagements while it was pouring rain in the dark. Up and down hills with curves along the way

If you want more content to test self-driving cars and feel Tesla is so good, drive them near human-controlled traffic, police vehicles, school buses with flashing lights, wet concrete, open manholes, next to a fire, flares on the road, fire hoses lying on the road etc. Testing on empty streets in Santa Monica for an hour, as seen here, is far from the rigorous scenarios Waymo faces with 700 cars running 24/7. Tesla still has years to catch up with Waymo’s progress.

Being a game changer for older people was one of the selling points for my dad buying a new Y for my mom this year. They’re in their 80s and still riding my dads motorcycle and he knows at some point he’ll be to old to drive safely but doesn’t want to stop traveling. He says his hope is that he’ll be on a trip to visit someone when his time comes and their Tesla will deliver a surprise to someone’s driveway 😂

at 26:00-27:00 when it asked you to take over it was because of the sudden sun glare when you turned. That has happened to me a couple of times as well. Check the video.

Can you tell FSD team to improve lane selection on highway that navigation lane selection should take higher priority when it’s close to highway change. The current problem is that it’s less than 2 miles from the next highway change and FSD still changes lane to the opposite side to gain a little speed and make the highway change much harder even miss the change.😂
