NASA Paid This Guy $18,000 To Lie In Bed For 70 Days
“‘I was on a regimented sleep schedule,’ [Iwanicki] told NextShark. ‘Lights out at 10 p.m., lights on at 6 a.m. No napping allowed during the day, which is one of the cruelest jokes about being stuck in bed all day, not being able to nap.’”

Brain rest helps kids heal faster from concussions
“A majority of those who got the most cognitive rest were symptom-free 40 days after their head injury, but it took 100 days for symptoms to resolve in the majority of those who got the least amount of rest, according to the study published Monday in the journal Pediatrics.”

I'm just watching this video to scare myself out of bed. the first step toward solving your problem is knowing you have a problem.

I didn't realize staying in bed for over two months was too long. I'lll try to stay in bed for no more than a month at a time to be on the safe side.

That's just your body loving sleep so much it wants to die to make it last forever.

I use to lay in bed for hours and hours a day for many months, I was the ultimate couch potato, I stayed in bed for so long it got to the point where when I started getting up and walk around, I would feel so weird, and very weak. And I agree with the anxiety part... I changed my habits and started daily routine of walking and running and just being very active and my anxiety and mental health improved.. I feel motivated to do things now.. Staying in bed for too long is harmful...

I started laying in bed all day when my anxiety & depression were more than I could handle. Now both symptoms are much better & my only problem now is insomnia. Trying to push myself to be more active & get out of this slumber I'm in. Laying in bed most of the time is fun in the beginning. But it quickly becomes very depressing.

Stayed in bed for 8 months. Today I runned for 2 minutes and almost fainted! I felt really weak, my ears ringed, my head hurt, my vision blurred and felt like throwing out. Somehow I fight it off by clenching my hands and tensing my body. I never fainted before so I didn't know that by doing so you can avoid fainting.
