If you were charged with keeping control of a large group of people, the three things that would empower you the most are, , one: keeping the people afraid of opposing authority. two: keep them from having greater knowledge of the world than yourself, and three: keep them believing only you can provide for their needs.. In other words.... keep them as children under the watchful eye of a parent. Christianity was created for just this purpose.
