3-Year-Old Paralyzed by Tick Bite #shorts

In 2017, a little girl was left paralyzed after she was bitten by a tick.

I'm grateful she's recovering. I didn't know this could also happen to humans. It's horrifying enough to see this happen to dogs.

This happened to me when I was 5! Thank God my parents took me to the ER! I came in to the ER paralyzed and I left walking!!! Thank you Jesus!!!!

Omg we went thru this too when our son was 6!! Took 2 trips to e.r. and 2 trips to our G.P. and a full 48 hours in HOSPITAL before they discovered Lymes. That was 25 years ago now. He has a enlarged heart requiring echocardiogram(sp) once a year and arthritis for life. But he's still here 🥲 walking talking and raising heck thank the LORD. GOD Bless this family cuz 25 years ago they didn't know what they were doing!

I myself was bitten by a tick, was very sick for many weeks but never paralyzed. Thank heavens, the Doctor found the tick in her head, removed it and saw the child recover.immediately from paralysis.

In 1996 my mom got bit by a tick. 10 years later when she could barely walk or use her motor skills she was finally diagnosed with lymes disease. And this was after being misdiagnosed MANY times.

She still to this day has health complications due to that tick bite. But thank God for her finally finding out that it was lymes and getting treatment.

I had a friend pass away from this. His whole body shut down and he lived in a hospital on life support. He finally asked his family to end his suffering. So glad this little girl recovered. 🙏

As a parent myself I cannot imagine the fear these poor parents went through!! Praise be to God their precious daughter was saved!

That Dr was a blessing for that little angel and her parents. Thank God she is doing better and by now hope she is 100%. As a father to an almost 2yr old daughter this is scary.

I remember, she was in her backyard when the tick snuck up to feed.
I got Lyme disease in '14 from a tick.
They're the smallest creatures in nature the most deadly

My dog had a tick and we were wondering why he was sluggish. Took him to the vet and they removed the tick quickly. It was big because it was feasting on him. He instantly started to feel better.

This happened to me when I was 4, I'm thankful to be alive because of my mother. After I had seen a doctor, she brought me swimming for months every day to make my legs stronger.

I cant believe a La Grande story made the news! I’m so happy Evelyn is okay and feeling better! What a scary experience!
