For DS and 3DS emulation, get a joycon flip-grip and play in portrait mode, preserving the vertical form-factor and getting more screen real-estate!

Thank you for testing all this, just what I was looking for! I just installed Android on my OLED Switch and will likely only use it for PSP, Moonlight and Xbox Gamepass. Surface Duo 1 + Nacon MG-X controller takes care of everything else listed here (4:3 content, DS, 3DS) very well.

That's great for anyone that has a modded OLED switch I have the rg405m it's my new favorite system I never owned a GameCube but now I'm able to play some GameCube games right now I'm playing Super Robot Wars GC English translation and it plays at full speed using the MMJR2 emulator
the only thing is that during the battle animations the battle messages aren't being displayed correctly, it probably is the emulator

Can you share the settings you used for the wii/gc emulation on android? Also how did you get the joycons to work with dolphin on android? Mine doesnt work

Can you test Andrid games like Brawl Stars? I'm trying to get on-screen controls working but I'm not sure how. I use Mantis on my phone and it's great, but it doesn't work so well on Switch Lite Android
