There hasn’t been a King of England since the Acts of Union (which joined England and Scotland into the Kingdom of Great Britain) in 1707.

The last king of England was William III (William of Orange), who reigned from 1689 to 1702.

He was succeeded by his sister-in-law, Anne, who reigned from 1702 to 1707 (and then continued as Queen of Great Britain until 1714).
