Tornado warning while in our RV // we had to leave

When you said middle of night it made me think of people that think tornadoes can't happen during the night cause they can and a great example is the Greensburg tornado

My friend was in a tornado and her dad litteraly said "if my car gets damaged imma go in that tornado"💀

When I was little, at one point I lived in a trailer park and a literal tornado came through it one time. All I can really remember is holding onto an rv door so I wouldn’t get sucked in.

My family rented out our house one summer and we lived in our camper, of course it had to be the year with 3 tornado warnings 🙄 (typically the area in Minnesota where I live there is only one a year and sometimes it’s just a watch not a warning)

I’m from Oklahoma so we have tornado shelter. So we don’t have to do this but glad your being safe.

A tornado watch means there's a chance of a tornado forming because the conditions are favorable, but a tornado warning means a tornado touched down, and anyone in the area needs to seek shelter. Although a watch doesn't mean a tornado is guaranteed to form, it's a good idea to get things you need in case the storm is really severe, and think about where you're going to take shelter if a tornado happens. I like how you're trying to stay safe. Tornado watches and warnings aren't the same, and it's important to know the difference.

I live in Tornado Alley, always have. I live in Nebraska so we do get a lot of tornados there but I’ve never been hit or had one near us.

Any type of tornado watch warnings send me into a panic attack. My worst nightmare is getting sucked into a windy grey tube.
