Hi Erin! 48 YO Perimenopausal woman here. I found your channel a few months ago and you've really helped me out. Thank you for that! I used to dress so styling when I was younger (before 2011) but I have not really cared as much and noticed I wasn't feeling confident nor attractive nor pretty anymore; which doesn't help my self esteem. I also didn't know what was in style anymore! I recently bought some things based on your suggestions. Yesterday I wore dark skinny jeans with cut bottom edges, a pair of chunky heeled booties in a color other than black (which is way out of my comfort zone). They are a tan color. And a white puffer jacket. Even though I've gained weight due to hormones, (size 14) I felt trendy, confident and sexy yesterday! Seriously, I don't know how or why your video popped up in my YT feed a few months ago (because I don't watch fashion videos) but I am so thankful it did. I am sixty one and just lost a huge amount of weight. I had plastics and now have the body of my dreams. I use most of these tips but its nice hearing that its ok to dress sexy at my age. Confidence is what I need to work on as I am not use to my new body yet. another thing I was worried about was keeping my long hair. now I know, its ok and I am going to continue to rock it. sometimes we just need that extra push from someone else to know that what we are doing is ok. thank you for that.

As we age, women start to look slightly more masculine (loss of fullness in face/body, changes in hair growth, etc) and men start to look more feminine (norrowed shoulders, more delicate bones...).
So i's also important for women to celebrate our femininity. e.g. feminine dresses, ruffles, lipstick, hairstyle, perfume, shoes, etc.

Great, Erin! Sexy secret? Don’t know if this qualifies, but TAILORING I.e. don’t wear clothes that don’t fit your body and hide your shape. Long untucked shirts, loose track pants, sack dresses, over-sized hoodies, shapeless skirts, boxy shirts. Sloppy isn’t sexy. A sharp cut blazer, slim (not tight) trousers hemmed perfectly, thin knit turtleneck, a well-fitting button down shirt. We dress for ourselves absolutely. At the same time people do respond to what we present. Making an effort is always appealing no matter what you’re style.

This is what I need to watch. I’m turning 36 soon but still very fit as I exercise several times a week. I’ve just been hearing a lot of negative stuff in the media of how women should dress conservative, especially as we age. No, why?! I want to be sexy and I work hard for it.

61 and my favorite is sheer sleeves. So classy! My wedding dress had beautiful sheer sleeves (October wedding) and when I look at my pictures, it still looks amazing and timeless.
Never liked asymmetryc anything for some reason even when I was young. Your red top is all kinds of gorgeous on you, and you can wear anything!☺️👍🏻
