steve64464 noticed I had NO dead short protection on these 18650's.
Than you for the life and property saver. The #22 AWG wire should handle 20 amp from the cell with no problem and blow during a dead short at 40 amps. With hundreds of amps from the potential of the other cells...I am hoping this remedy works well. The math seems sound

Looking a lot better but you may have to review what your using as fuse wire as it may not melt, also when fuse wire gets heated it may sag and malform which could cause it to be a hot wire cutter effect which cut cut through wrappings and such. A lot of us use the wire off resistor legs as fuse wire.

that wire looks like 15 or more amps. also, if you use the common 4x5 cell holders, you can simply place the bus bars in betweem the cells along the plastic and do quick short soldering of the fuse to the cell rather than have them dangling up in the air.
