It’s so interesting how you guys find it rude when waiters take away your plates quickly after eating..in the U.S it’s actually a good thing.

1. "Getting pissed" in the U.S. means getting really angry; it doesn't mean getting drunk.
2. Do NOT say "fag" in the U.S. It is not slang for a cigarette; it is a derogatory name for a gay man.
3. Yes, you are expected to tip waiters/waitresses at all sit-down restaurants. You don't tip at drive-thrus.
4. You most likely won't encounter anyone carrying a gun in a big city (unless it's the South).
5. Not all Americans eat high-caloric foods like Cheesecake Factory (yuck!)

You don't actually have to tip everywhere, only at sit-down restaurants. Places like fast food joints pay their workers minimum wage, so there's no need to tip. And since no one does it, you'll look pretty weird trying to tip the fast food cashier.

I was eating at this restaurant and I had just a tiny bit of my food left on the plate, I wasn’t done yet, and the waiter took my plate. I was so sad because I never got to finish it. 😂

In high school my science teacher kicked me out of class because I refused to pledge of allegiance to the flag. Then I went on to serve the US Navy 😂
