My favorite way of making prime rib. Trimmed up, tied, seasoned heavily with salt and pepper, and then covered with a mix of butter (2 sticks), garlic, parsley, thyme and rosemary. Grilled indirect on the @biggreenegg at 225 degrees until 120 internal for medium rare. Rest 20-30 minutes, slice and enjoy! Standing rib roast**. Not prime rib. The “Prime” in prime rib is for when its a prime grade. Dumb restaurants call it that because it sounds better.
