The rarepair pioneering issue is 1, 000x more painful when your brain has dragged you so deep into rarepair hell one half of your newest obsession _doesn't even have a canon name._ Or when a character who's never had fic made with them before has a really ambiguous name status in canon, and _you_ have to think of something to enter into the AO3 database to be connected to them _forever._ It's too much pressure for this young fool's heart 😭

I wholeheartedly believe multishipping and polycules are the answer to every ship war. Can't decide between Roceit and Anxceit? Anaroceit, next. Cant decide between Sonadow or Sonamy? They're both good, moving on. It just feels so good because people will be arguing over which one is better, but you just know "They're equally good, what's the point of picking?"

I love multishipping so my basis for shipping is based off of if I like their hypothetical dynamic.

I'm suprised more people don't multiship because it saves you from making a decision between one ship or another.

0:50 I love shipping. It’s so fun. But I’m also ace and aro. It took me longer to realize that I was aro because I loved shipping so much. Someone had pointed out how me being not interested in x reader fics, but shipping generally sounded like I was aro. I thought about it, but I didn’t fully accept it just then. It took me a couple more years to realize. Now I’m good. Shipping is still part of my way of interacting with media, but I realize that it’s not something I want in real life.

It's so funny to me when people think you have to know a lot about a ship because I LOVE interacting with fandoms I'm not in (and therefore don't know anything about) and picking random ships that I see and following them. It's literally so fun. Everyone needs to try interacting with random fandom.

I’ve noticed that I really like ships where everyone (not just the fandom) just sorta agrees that they’re together even though they aren’t in canon. Not sure why, but hey.
