Ooh, that's a cool idea. Have to get back to the studio to try this out. Thanks

i've been patching kick drums for decades and i still learned a lot from this!

i used to try to filter clicky sounds out of my kicks, and then i started to be like wait no i actually kinda like clicky sounds i guess i can have some click to it if i want, and then only very recently did i really listen to actual kick drums and hear how clicky/smacky they really sound -- having something smacky higher up helps your ears pick up the rhythm, since it's harder to identify the timing of lower sounds, so giving it some smack gives your ears a clue where to hear the bass tone

Filters are also useful for drums costhey can save u an envelope generator / VCA. Lots of filters have resonance that can be "pinged" by putting a trigger into the input.

Can this also be done with the a-140 x 3? Obviously without vc

Hey, do you happen to wear a Zerone binary watch? Because (as a long term software developer) I do. And it seems I can recognize one of those ones on your wrist - Maybe a Kerala Trance model - which I owned (Blue LEDs). Now I'm wearing a The One model (Green LEDs)
