I think is wise to keep passwords management out of nextcloud. Having so much personal and important info on nextcloud can be catastrophic if hacked. I prefer to use Bitwarden that is also FOSS, have great sharing feature, and available on all platforms.

Forgive me for being, That Guy™, but SMTP is how email is sent to you. IMAP4, and POP3 are how email is retrieved. Also, I noticed in the video that you were using port 143. While this is correct for unencrypted IMAP, 993 is usually where SSL and STARTTLS live. (This can be changed by the server admins, of course.) =) With love! =)

Better than mail: Setup you own mail server (for example using dockerized mailcow) and ditch your mail provider. You can install you own mail frontend (mailcow does bring one by default).

I agree completely with the photo indexing. The problem would be that it would require some element of AI which could be hard to run on a server.
Edit: hard as in expensive / cpu or gpu taxing

Nice list! And you haven't even talked about Nextcloud Deck. It's a Kanban tool - maybe not necessary for personal use (unless you're planning a lot and you want to keep track), but perfect for project management. So you cannot only ditch Google but also Trello.
