in a peer reviewed Harvard gazette article information was gathered and they found that the earth was covered in ocean waters 3 billion years ago. So, at least they revealed that much the only thing wrong is the timing. It's only a matter of time before the walls come tumbling down.

It’s possible that the undersea volcanoes broke out first, and then the heat vaporized tremendous body of water to the sky. When it reached the cold layer of the air, it cooled down and that huge body of water dropped back to the surface.

Where did the water come from. To cover the entire earth with water, the oceans would have to be 7 miles higher than they are now. If all ice on earth were to melt, it might rise the oceans by a couple hundred feet. Where did 7 miles of extra water come from?
