Problem is, they're gonna have some problems in the android saga and cell saga bc doctor giro would know about super saiyan and program the androids to be even more powerful. This would lead to cell becoming more powerful as he must absorb 18 and 17. At this point, super saiyan 2 wouldn't even be enough. If goku manages to attain ssj3 during that period and they survive cell, then the buu saga would probably be a piece of cake and everything would go back to normal and beerus would come along and tournament of power etc.

At least we have a clue that he exert his power over than he normally do like a Kaioken but without training, Can be compare to Manga Goku Top arc that he overload his energy to get even more power against Jiren. But even if Raditz did that, it’s still a toy against ssj Goku
