4 iconic pocket knives from Solingen

The Boker Optima, the Friedrich Hartkopf 290 and the Klaas Monolith are iconic pocket knives from Solingen. I found an old Hubertus knife some month ago, too. All four knives are classic backlock knives and stand for the history of the knife city Solingen.

I really like the amazing and timeless knife designs.

I received my first Boker made in Solingen today, a Boker Barlow Integral Copper Desert Ironwood, n690 blade. Without a doubt the finest pocket knife I own. Definitely my favourite. The fit and finish is excellent. I am waiting for more Solingen knives which are on Backorder. I am now looking for other knives to purchase and found your channel which has shown me more.. Germany is the pinnacle of manufacturing excellence in every field. Subscribed to your Channel a big thumbs up.

Das sind richtig schöne Klassiker.
Alle so ein bisschen im Buck Stil, wie du auch gegen Ende sagst.
Das Hubertus von Seki ist natürlich genial.
Vom Optima habe ich nur die Böker Plus Variante. Nennt sich dann Böker Plus Optima Europa. Ist optisch etwas moderner und mit G10 Griffschalen.
Hm... mein Favorit aus Solingen. Das ist schwer. Es gibt ein paar interessante alte Puma Messer.
Aber auch Otter bzw. Kaufmann K55K hat einige sehr interessante Messer, die nahezu unverändert aufgelegt werden.
Die ganz alten Böker sind auch sehr schön.
Schwierig... kann mich da nicht festlegen.
