Well said. I just had a sister in Christ suggest becoming a woman pastor because of the need for them. How could I leave my home, my children, to preach when I am commanded not to? Makes no sense

I've been enamored by the testimony of Elisabeth Elliot. Women have done wondrous things for the kingdom of God without ever taking on the office of eldership. She was a missionary and a writer, God's purpose in her life has been used to bring countless to himself. She fully submitted herself to Gods will, even being a missionary to the tribe that killed her husband. We don't need to be men to be useful. We don't need to be preachers. We need to be who God called us to be. As Elisabeth Elliot said simply. "Trust and Obey."

I love this content. My mom went to seminary school & it wasn’t until this year (she’s 58) that she realized women shouldn’t preach to men/coed congregations. Lots of long conversations about that. My dad is a lutheran pastor and he has no issue with females preaching. The stand-in for him at our church is a woman.

If you love the Word of God, you will do your diligence to understand the context and meaning behind those passages, and realize there is also scriptural evidence to support female pastors.
