My JOURNEY to becoming a DOCTOR | Attending a Caribbean Medical School

My journey to becoming a doctor. It definitely was not easy and took a lot of school, hard work, and sacrifice. If you were thinking about going into medical school and becoming a doctor this is a video that you should watch. It is very important to know how long it takes and the sacrifice it requires. Loved to hear your story! You experienced a lot of uncertainty but now you look back and see how God was preparing you for where you are now!

It’s super inspiring to me as a rising senior in undergrad thinking about medical school.

What kind of shadowing/clinical experience did you have before medical school? I’m an EMT right now, but I think I need to shadow some doctors to see if I really want medical school.

I’ve also been volunteering in kid’s ministry at my church for two years, so pediatrics is on my mind. I think that even though it would be sad to see sick kids, the outcomes are generally better, what do you think?

Really beautiful story! Thanks for the encouragement. I’m actually quite a new follower of Jesus! It took me a while to see that He had always been there, walking with me through some tough times. Christ is my firm foundation!
