I didn’t figure this out…It breaks my heart every time I think of this scene

When Daryl walks away, you can tell he’s already lost.

What’s so sad is majority of the cast that’s there is only alive because of rick

I feel like Daryl was the most affected by this because he knew no matter what, Rick had his back. But now that he's gone that's the second brother he lost.
That final head nod Rick gave Daryl was his way of showing he know's what needs to be done and Daryl's way of saying I understand

Saddest thing about this scene? Daryl. You know he knew when he fired that first arrow that there was nothing he could do to save Rick; he wouldn't have had enough arrows to kill every walker that got close to him. But yet he kept shooting, trying to keep Rick alive longer. Just his facial expressions show how meaningless he knew it was. A huge credit to Norman Reedus for that low-key emotion shown there.

When I seen the look on Daryl's face I started to cry

Rick's last words: "I found them".

Norman Reedus's acting here was immaculate. He looked so genuinely broken and made this scene all the more gut-wrenching.

As much as I wish Andrew Lincoln well in his future endeavors...damn, I'm going to miss him on this show.

It's so heartbreaking to see Daryl cry, because he knew deep in his heart, he would never recover those arrows 😥

The reason Daryl cried. Is because Rick taught Daryl that there was hope, Rick protected Daryl, he helped him.. so Daryl felt upset and angry

Daryl's expression was so sad when he started shooting the arrows..

Daryl has grown so much since the season started, a real man.

Am I the only one who found it satisfying how all the zombies just kept walking off the bridge

Daryl cries when he loses somebody in front of him

Damn. The music in this makes it even more powerful.
You can see Daryl and the others grow more and more desperate as they know what's gonna happen until that fateful "RICK" as the music cuts, and the explosion, and then slowly draws back in, showing the emotional impact of them with nothing but the music, we don't need to hear them scream and cry, because we already know that they are.

Michonne yelling
Daryl crying and walking away
That Rick thought he was saved when he hallucinated the group running at him.
