3. Under Create new export, click on Deselect all.

6. Choose the file type and size for your Google Photos backup. Then select create export.
7. Go to your email and open the email with the subject Your Google data is ready to download.
8. In the email select Download your files.
9. Now just download the files containing your Google Photos export.

Using your method I downloaded all my photos except for 2022 photos which I left for now and everything worked great. Guessed that would remove them off google, but it didn't. Hi, recently I got a message from google that my account will be deleted in 29 days... so I am not able to login to my account. Let me know if there are ways to download photos without logging in or any solution to revoke my google account.

Don't believe that this will work, it will in fact only download photos that where in a album, the rest will be missing from the export. Moreover the compleat mess of the exported data is another issue that will make it very hard to use the exported data, even if your a programmer and can write a piece of software to try and sort it out.

They need to add a send to specific email address as the only reason I'm using takeout is because I can no longer send or receive emails to my linked Gmail account. So annoyed

Google takeout is a mess, all image has new date/metadata so it's a bit of a hassle. They provided .json files but why do that when they can merge it in the first place.
