I worked at a heavy equipment repair facility and with a business that supported mining operations in Florida. Since Florida's economy is mostly based upon tourism, the only other valuable assets that it can use for export/income is beef, agriculture, and mining/mineral products. Yes, beef is surprisingly a big part of Florida's economy and has been since the Civil War era. Equestrian related activities are prominent as well but mostly in the northern/ north central area.( Ocala )
