Mag-Lite. Will it work after a year or more underwater!

Found this Mag-Lite under about 6 inches of water in our storm shelter when I was cleaning it out. I wanted to see if it would work after being underwater for well over a year. Hope you enjoy it.

Those things are virtually indestructible, I still have one that i found on my walk to school when i was about 12 or 13, on the side of a fairly busy road that looked like it was beaten within an inch of its life, i took it home, threw batteries in it, and it has worked to this day being left outside for months at a time, used as a hammer, dropped, and generally beaten on for at least 5 years now.
The lights gotten dimmer, its better as a tool of percussive maintenance than a flashlight, but every so often it still serves its original purpose

That very thing happened to to a guy I used to go fishing with.
