Granted, the Mag-Lite definitely needed a new bulb. However, even in it's prime it was nothing compared to what we have available today.

In the UK you can get nicked for having a weapon in the car but a maglight is just in case you break down at night in a bad neighborhood with bad street lighting. I loved the extended length version .had some wieght to it.

I love my Maglites, I have a 6c led maglite that was my Grandpa's it's awesome.

Mag lights like that actually have a LED conversion that can be fitted to it, the only drawback is it needs to have a little sodering done to swap the stock light socket and the new light set up

Put fresh batteries in or convert to Li-ion and it will bring your Maglite back to life.

No contest my 10, 000 lumen flashlight although thicker is half that size.

I saved and bought a mag light when I was a child and still to thus day I don't know what happened to it.
