Install Armbian Onto Android TV Box eMMC Internal Storage

NOTE: This will overwrite the Android ROM on the eMMC flash and attempt to install Armbian. Before beginning, make sure you have a backup of the stock Android ROM in the event the installation fails or you want to revert back to Android in the future. Proceed at your own risk.
 
   01. Boot into Armbian using the microSD method
   02. Run the following commands in a terminal window
         sudo su
         cd /root/
         ls
   03. Find the install- .sh file for the chipset hardware
         aw = allwinner
         aml = amlogic
         rk = rockchip
   04. Run the install script
   05. Once the Armbian OS finishes copying to the eMMC, shutdown Armbian
   06. Unplug power from the TV box
   07. Remove the SD/microSD card from the system
   08. Power the TV box back on to boot from the eMMC storage
   09. If everything worked as expected, Armbian should boot from the internal eMMC storage and no longer require the SD/microSD card

This was very helpful. I've just installed my Armbian from SDCard to the EMMC on my MXQ Pro 4k with s905w CPU and 2gb/16gb - p281 board. Works great!

I installed the latest Armbian on the sd card first. When I boot with the SD card, and I login as root, it does not have any install scripts in /root. Do I need another image on the SD card?

Trying to do this on a RK3288 running Ubuntu Jammy, but it's not working, because there are no scripts set up to do the move, I suppose! how else to proceed...

I try to use an external hdd to put my movies and use plex on my tx3 mini but it doesn't work, plex recognize that there is a hdd or usb stick but don't show the content, I'm running armbian from the sd, would this fix that problem? or is something else entirely?

When I try to install to emmc I get a "Unable to find you emmc drive" error. Does this mean i have nand instead?

Very informative video but problem i am facing is when i give commond sudo su i get error /ur/bin/sudo must be owned by uid 0 and have setuid bit set . Can u guide where i am doing mistake
