"honey you dont need another train layout"
"But what if we have an earthquake hit our area? At leash one of our layouts needs to be usable afterwards!"
"We dont get earthquakes here"
"Not yet...."

I'm a mom becoming as obsessed with trains as my 5 year old son. Why does this appeal to me so strongly!! Awesome!

Once upon a time, putting a walnut on a Z-car was an iconic picture. Now you can cut a hole in the walnut and use it as a tunnel.

So from biggest to smallest, the model railroad scales _I know of_ go: Grand, Large, G, S, O, OO, HO, TT, N, Z, T. I didn't think model trains could get smaller than Z, and I'm now _really_ sure they're not getting smaller than T, because using a dissection microscope and surgical micro-grippers to detail a T scale layout is already mentally exhausting enough!

Cmon Steve, I was resisting the urge for a while but now you’ve made me want T gauge again 😂
Have fun with it!

I have N now, I want both Z and T. I had no idea that T is magnetic. Thanks for sharing!

That power cable is thick enough to power an entire T gauge city 😂

T gauge has been around for more than 15 years now ! It sticks so well on the track that you can even run it upside down. The running stock is in fact so light that without this magnetic property it would barely run due to a lack of friction. It's really nice but there is one negative point for me in terms of realism: the track is looking quite ugly and rails correspond to a 45 cm height and to a 22.5 cm width in real.

Ok this has got me thinking about replacing my 00 gauge layout in my shed. Its 9ft x 6ft which currently has a nice little single track heritage circuit on it. But with that i could probably fit all of the british railways to scale in there 😂

First I've heard of this gauge, thanks!

The smaller the scale one is modelling the more difficult the task of modelling becomes; therefore imagine building a T-Gauge layout 😱

That would fit in the Godzilla Crumble Zone set.

I was just thinking, I like my HO trains a lot, but they just don't have enough small parts for my kids to choke on! 😂

I thought you meant TT gauge which is between HO and N! I’ve never seen these. Amazing!
