It's illegal to refuse to give someone their paycheck. Being the "boss" she should have just gave him his check and told him to leave instead of arguing with him.

There's so many things wrong with this situation... guy handled it better than I would. What a tyrannical work environment. Amazing how none of them know the law and continue to berate this man and threaten him for requesting a paycheck THAT HE WORKED FOR... unbelievable and totally unprofessional, RATCHET staff.

Any boss would give the man his check then fire him if they feel like he isn’t having the correct attitude in the work space. This is crazy how she handled herself
