Awesome work ! Most of the time I use 2x6 at the bottom, level those out and sit the pickets on top straight leveled fence pickets every time!

Great video, it definitely helps. Do you put a gap between the pickets? Or when do you put a gap between pickets and how big of a gap?

Great tips. Only thing that I hated was letting the tape in slam into the casing when it reels in. That's hard 😢on that end.

Straight as an arrow. I just started building wood fences the problem im having is my pickets seems to get our of straight and leaning even though im using a level. Also it creates more ripping. What am I doing wrong

I would imagine since you utilize the brackets, your holes arent spaced the traditional "8' on center", how do you get your posts set so nicely? Great video!

My neighbor hired a company that did this…top of fence straight, bottom is about 6-8’ off the ground on one side of yard, allowing his dog to pass underneath.

Did you use a transit to find your cut marks for the 4x4 cut at 68" Im doing one noe and ground is a bit uneven, Im wondering how to do it without a transit. Can cut them all at 68" if the ground is uneven, some will have to be a bit taller

I am using 2x6 at the bottom. This way, the fence height will be more than 6 feet. Is it legal to have a fence about 6.6 feet height? I know its 6 ft max. or should I cut the pickets?

Where did you get your brackets that's holding the 2x4s to the 4x4 post?

So are all of your 2x4’s level or do you always go 4 inches down from the top of your post? (68in above the ground)
