Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade | Limonada con infusión de flor de mariposa azul

In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to make a Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade. This drink is so refreshing and perfect to have on a hot day, at a BBQ, or just any time of the day. Butterfly Pea Flower is an herbal tea with lots of health benefits. The infused flower gives the water a beautiful blue color and mixed with drinks makes them look amazing! Plus, if you add it to lemonade the color changes to different tones of purple and pink depending on how much tea you add. Try it at home and pleased your family and friends. They will love it!

The ingredients are:

5 or 6 Butterfly Pea Flower (you can also use the tea bags or the dry flowers)
2 cups of Water
½ cup of Lemon Juice (3 to 4 lemons)
4 tbsp of Sugar Substitute of your choice (more or less to taste)
Carbonated Water
Ice (for serving)

Preparation:

1. Infused the Butterfly Pea Flower in hot water and let it steep for 15 minutes.
2. Then add more warm water and set it aside to get it cool at room temperature.
3. Meanwhile, place the water, lemon juice, and sugar substitute in a blender and blend well.
4. Serve the lemonade over ice and using the back of a spoon gently pour the butterfly pea flower tea infusion.
5. You can enjoy it as is or mix the tea with lemonade and turn it pink.
6. Another way to enjoy this refreshing drink is to freeze the tea infusion into ice cubes. Serve the lemonade over the blue ice cubes and pour carbonated water on top.

Note: If you want to make this lemonade with regular sugar just use 1/3 cup (more or less to taste) of sugar of your choice. It will taste delicious too!

En el video de hoy te mostraré cómo hacer una limonada con infusión de flor de mariposa azul. Esta limonada es bien refrescante, perfecta para tomar en un día caluroso, en una barbacoa o en cualquier momento del día. La flor de mariposa azul conocida también como “Flor guisante mariposa” es una infusión con muchos beneficios para la salud. Cuando se infunde en agua caliente suelta un hermoso color azul y gracias a esto, las bebidas se ven increíbles. Además, si lo añades a una limonada el color cambia a diferentes tonos de violeta y rosa dependiendo de la cantidad de té que añadas. Prepara esta receta en casa y complace a toda tu familia y amigos. ¡Les encantará!

Los ingredientes son:

5 a 6 flores “Butterfly Pea Flower” (también puedes utilizar los sobrecitos de té o las flores secas)
2 tazas de agua
½ taza de jugo de limón (3 a 4 limones)
4 cdas de sustituto de azúcar de preferencia (más o menos cantidad al gusto)
Agua carbonatada
Hielo (para servir)

Preparación:

1. Infusiona la flor de mariposa azul en agua caliente y déjala reposar durante 15 minutos.
2. Luego, añade un poco más de agua tibia y reserva para que se enfríe a temperatura ambiente.
3. Mientras tanto, añade el agua, el jugo de limón y el sustituto de azúcar en una batidora y mezcla bien.
4. Sirve la limonada sobre hielo y con la parte de atrás de una cuchara vierte suavemente la infusión de flores.
5. Puedes disfrutarlo tal cual o mezclar el té con la limonada y darle un color rosado.
6. Otra forma de disfrutar esta bebida refrescante es convirtiendo la infusión en cubitos de hielo. Sirve la limonada sobre los cubitos azules y añade agua carbonatada por encima.
7. Disfruta y ¡salud!

Nota: Si deseas preparar la limonada con azúcar regular, utiliza 1/3 de taza (más o menos al gusto) de azúcar de su elección. ¡También sabrá delicioso!
