Chopin - Etude Op. 10 No. 1 in C major

Continuous wide-spaced arpeggios sweep up and down the keyboard over a melody in octaves. Chopin's novel use of these arpeggios, based mainly on chords of a tenth, instead of the usual octaves, creates a sparkling sound never heard before. To play them uninterrupted in a smooth legato is a challenge.
