this kid has BALLS - demanding but beautiful Etude - and he executes it perfectly! A lot of people don't like Yamaha's for Classical music - but, you can not deny the power they put into their Bass strings. I have a Yamaha 6'4 and had the top end softened for classical without giving up the power in the Bass. Great video - thanks for uploading!

Very musical in contrast to most other performances. This is the etude that Horowitz wouldn't play in public for it being 'too difficult'. Bravo!

I just watched five pianists interpret this bear of a piece in five distinct and impressive recordings. All fantastic. This one, however, had me jumping out of my skin. The precision coupled with the undeniable passion was godly. No other way to describe what he channeled via his fingers here.

I just can't believe that in the 2019 Tchaikovsky Competition he played etude 4. I think him playing this etude surpasses that of all people on youtube and at the competition.
