I used to be a pacifist and thought that no Christian should go to war . I still know I could never kill but I am thankful that others are prepared to fight on my behalf. It is not my calling to join a physical army but I have signed up to Jesus army of end time soldiers to set the oppressed free using our mighty spiritual weapons in Jesus name

All I know is that when I was 18 God called me to the USMC. Everyone thought it was nuts and much worse the Marines. I had to come to grips that what God was ordering me to do was somewhat contradictory to what I believed already but who was I to say I know better than God. Eventually after Boot Camp, I went to a different training and it suddenly downed on me that they were teaching me to be a killing machine. It was so backwards and I couldn’t make sense of what God was doing. It even kinda traumatized me.

My mom wanted to take me out bc I’m an only son. And God spoke to her saying “No because you don’t know what I’m saving him from.” Then not too long after, two of my close friends from church, whom I had stated already to my mom that if I didn’t go anywhere I would move with them to a nearby town to work in a factory and make some money for a while. Well they weren’t too Christian like and I knew it but we were buddies. Anyway, long story short, they got busted for the biggest meth bust in the south at that time. Both of them to prison.

I would’ve been entangled in all of that. The feds came in the house confiscated properties and cars and houses.

I suspect they were in something because I sorta noticed the people they were hanging with and I did warm one of them, who had a great singing voice and we had won 2nd place in a church youth camp competition where I played the guitar and he sang.

No one can tell God how to be God.

Pastor Vlad, I am fervently praying for you and Ukraine. Actually, I've been praying for the Russian soldiers that are torn by their consciousness that they may have the courage to see the Truth of the times. Praise Jesus Christ. Amen

Just add a bit to what you said about John the Baptist:
The soldiers specifically asked John how they should repent. If God wants us to be pacifists, that would have been the perfect time for John to tell the soldiers. But he said nothing about pacifism or getting out of the military.

If God is for you who can be against you. Don't resist an evil person. Turn the other cheek. Brother we live in a new covenant and killing is a sin. Don't justify killing. We fight on our knees. We don't fight against flesh and blood. You are speaking the direct opposite of God's Word.

At the end of the day if you are with God, just pray and God will help you to find out your own path, if you should be a warrior or stay aside of war for another reasons❤✝️☦🕊
