How to test an AFCI breaker (Simple!)

This test is so simple, but it could even help prevent a house fire or other property damage! Maybe even save a life!

I tested the yellow button today on the bedroom breaker. It started buzzing and it made smoke come out. Let go of the button real quick and it stopped. What should I do?

the lights in my bedroom wont turn back on its the only one with a test button 😢

don't tell me he's just going to push the button.... wouldn't a real test be with a tester at the device?
