ok this sounds dumb but i often forgot mag is a horror cause a lot of the fan stuff I see it more meme-y but this perfectly captures the seriousness of it. and like every frame is beautifully drawn, there's so much detail, Jon's increasingly messy desk, the symbols for each entity, the daisy symbol into the hunt!! like holy shit!!!! and that last frame just *chefs kiss* this is altogether one of the best animatics out there

melanie 'being her own escape route" with the scratched out 'if this is how i go' paired with both The Unknowing and later Daisy's coffin.... the desk getting progressively messier symbolizing Jon's descent into paranoia and the parallel between Martin and Jon with "I'm better off alone" the eclipse and 'turn the lights down low', Jon reading Elias' statement against his will along with the words 'i know' used in tandem with the Eye god all of this is just CInnamon Topography. I watch it like AT LEAST once a day

This absolutely rocks!!! My highlight was the contrast between the "I'm better off alone" with Jon distancing himself from the rest of the team even when Martin is trying to reach out to him and the same lyric with Martin distancing himself and hiding from Jon. But honestly this is all so cool? The Unknowing? The bit with the daisy turning into the teeth? The bit with Jon caught in the webs? All the expressions? All your character designs? I love ALL of this????

ok everyone is just dropping their favourite frames of this in the comments so can i say the eclipse/dark sun sequence that went with "turn the lights down low" really hit me? It's so simple but i dunno... the timing... the meaning behind the reference... made me just kind of go "oh wow"

this is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen - I've played this a dozen times over already and my jaw is still on the ground over how ABSOLUTELY stunning this is. Thank you so much for this incredible animatic- every detail really gets me, and I love how perfectly you matched the lyrics to each scene, from the little symbols for each entity, to specific lines like "I don't feel anything" for Georgie, the parallel between Jon and Martin isolating themselves over the repeating chorus, the daisy turning into teeth, the increasing clutter of artifacts and evidence on the desk, jonah-elias showing up with the line the devil walks among you asdlfjhdjhsda god there's too much to name
