Do one for singles pls! I'd love to hear one featuring singles, and I feel this topic of flat discussion, amongst singles are not discussed often enough. The struggles and reality for singles T-T (and of course the bright side also) For worst or for better, singlehood in Singapore is a rising trend I hope to see one from you guys! Thank you! : D

Going to be extremely harsh with my criticism because this is probably the worst episode. Not sure whats the point of a panel podcast if almost nothing is individual thought and simply just regurgitating HDB/MND's talking points word for word. Nth on the hosts and guests bc its probably totally out of your hands. But is the producer for this episode assuming the audience of YGW podcasts unable to read a step by step guide on the HDB website? I understand bills have to be paid for your other passion projects and creative content, but this was almost insulting.

Maybe a lot of content was not approved by the client and cut out and its probably the best with what you could work with...but yeah...

For singles, if you're buying from the resale market, I would suggest buying as big as you can afford. If you meet someone down the road, the house is already settled, regardless if you want kids or not. And if you stay single or decide not to have kids, the spare room(s) can be set aside for whatever use you want, or if you're ok with sacrificing some privacy, rent it out. The rental income, if market is good or if you have more than one room leasing out, can literally pay for your monthly mortgage.

Bto first, relationship can slowly develop. Worst case, tahan 5 years, sell and split. Best case, both can upgrade to condo after flipping. Win-win.

Nick, please be responsible for what you said. Although the number of million dollar flats is very small but resale prices across board will increase in relation to the past overall resale transacted prices. So disappointed with this episode… What a propaganda!
