Can Smoking A Scorpion Get You High?

Some people are using scorpions as a narcotic. Will it give you euphoria? Or just a toxic cocktail of intense pain?

I've been stung by Striped Bark Scorpions. Their sting feels initially like you just got stabbed by a thumb tack, with a lot of burning, but it only lasted about an hour.. Oddly enough, I actually thought I put my knee on a thumb tack when it happened and went to brush it away, damn thing got me on the finger too. Honestly though I'd prefer to get stung by one of those again than discover another yellow jacket hive.

If you had opium for the first 6 hours would it be good. Because the first six hours is painful but opioids numb pain

The first time I was stung (turning on an underground water meter) I experienced pain followed by a euphoria that I didn't immediately associate with the scorpion sting. A few days later I was accidentally stung again, arranging firewood. Again, after the initial pain, I had this high. A calm feeling of well-being. Maybe like a muscle relaxer or pain reliever. So I googled it and found that scorpion stings can have a druglike effect. A few years later I was stung again on our central Texas ranch and had the same drug feeling. It was a mild, calm, pleasant sensation. The pain of the sting is moderate and subsides in a few hours. Some itching later. No swelling. I don't recommend getting stung intentionally. I have been stung by Red Wasp. Its sting is more painful. Swells more and for several days. bruises and discolors. and itches much longer. I don't want to be stung again, but If I were, I would prefer the scorpion to the wasp. I certainly would not want to be bitten by a Black Widow or Recluse spider. I'm a healthy 74-year-old with no allergies that I'm aware of. I'm much more cautious on the ranch. I had never been stung by a scorpion as a child or young adult.

When it comes to oxycodone as a painkiller I consider myself to be quite lucky. I have used it for about 1 year and 8 months (for a back hernia between L4 and L5) and I'm taking between 60-80 mg a day split up in 2 doses. In the beginning I only had obstipation (not beeing able to take a shit) and only pooped once every 3 to 5 days without laxatives. I only got high of it once when I used it for 3 months and only felt the high for about an hour to 2 hours ad was never high again (since that isnt the purpose for me). After about 1 year to 1 year and 3 months of taking it so about half a year ago the side effects completely stopped. Right now I'm taking these doses without laxatives and have absolutely 0 side effects. The only shit thing is when I forgot the order new meds right before the weekend I had absolutely no oxycodone for 2 days and lets just say I have never felt so bad in my entire life since withdrawal is supposed to be as bad as heroin withdrawal. (I can elaborate on this further if anyone would wish so). But I'm one in a few since a few of my patients (I'm studying to be a male nurse and currently doing an internship for the past 20 weeks) have severe side effects to the point that some dont feel emotions as much or can barely stay alert or even awake while taking doses as big or sometimes even smaller as mine. There is a great need in the medical field for very strong non-opiod painkillers because as far as strong painkillers go the only real option is opiods which can come with severe side-effects and a very high chance on developing a heavy dependence on the substance. But yeah if there could be a ppainkiller as strong as oxycodone (which is about 2 times stronger than morphine of you look at it per mg) I would be heavily in favor of it.
