add footsteps sound and creepy music playing every time u get in a room(make a special one for each room) and also make a hoo hoo sound for the monster and a shadow for the cutscene
a tip:
1. Add a tape that u will insert in the tv showing nothing with a disturbing sound that makes the monster know ur place
2. make a story like in place of the monster make a female ghost that represents the mother of the child who died and told her child to clean the house as her last word and if he did not she attack him(just for an example) and u can create a cutscene before the game start that shows the child holding his mom bleeding while she is telling him to take care of the house each morning.
3. add a lighter that shows less than the flashlight or even candles.
4. add an Ouija board where the mom spawns instead of the window
5. when the boy goes to sleep make the ghost sing a lullaby ( a good and creepy one at the same time( creepy cuz the sound of the ghost will be weird))
And all of those advices were only my personal point of view so I understand if u don't like them or think that u can make better changes

*A suggestion form my side* : When the game starts you can add a cutscene where the kid is just lying on the bed on his phone when he suddenly remembers that he had to do chores and checks the time and sees that its already 7am and when he gets up there is suddenly and power cut and has to find a torch to start doing his chore. TBH this game looks really incredible and the graphics and the mechanism is too good....loved it ❤❤

you could add a "self-defense" ending where our player character let's call him "Timothy" grabs the knife from the kitchen and shivs the monster in the throat, or the turkey could be used as a "thanks giving ending" either way your game looks top-dollar mang
