We Coded A Horror Game But With a Twist…

In this gamedev video we made a horror game using Unity. We mostly used Sketchfab for the 3D models for this devlog and some Blender Objects we made ourselves. The Project that was made with C# obviously was very exciting to make. Game development in general has been a huge part of our lives for ages now and won't leave us very soon. Programming is just such a great hobby to have.

I think just getting caught by the girl is a weird way to lose… maybe if she makes it to the end of the map she gets “home” and you lose the game? And it’d also be cool if she could like, run away or defend herself if you got too close. Or stop to look around if you made too much noise. Ik this was just a challenge tho lol

some little suggestion: i think it would be cool to turn this into a complete 180 slender where the girl's objective is to collect the pages and each time she collects a page you get faster and faster (but at first you're as slow as the replies from my crush) and give her some counters so the game wouldnt be that quick to finish like her light giving you some real ass flashbang (or just her flashing you, if you know what i mean)

This is quite impressive for 3 days, but if you want to play a horror game where you play as the monster that is absolutely incredible, I’d HIGHLY recommend giving Carrion a shot.

I've always liked reverse horror games, playing as the monster is pretty fun but stressful if they can fight back. If you like reverse horror games you should check some out some time they're pretty enjoyable and thrilling.

This was actually the concept in one of the earliest true horror games.

In Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the 2600 you actually played as Leatherface chasing down victims and the game was extermely controversial because of it.
