I’m contemplating buying the Legion go because I wanna be able to play PC games through windows so I can access my Steam and windows store games in addition to needing a portable PC with a trackpad as I have lost winds in my steam library

I want one just to use as a mini pc. It's like a smaller, better version of my Surface Pro

If the legion go release an updated pro version with better specs and oled screen, it would be undefeated imo. Its arguably the beat handheld for emulation as well

The things that’s making me want the Legion is that you can stream games from your pc to the legion and take full advantage of the 1600p and 144hz while maximizing its battery life

The Legion Go at or under $550 is probably a good buy for most. The biggest issues I had with mine was lack of software updates, , battery life, badly organized gaming UI / Library, and no OEM controller attachments. Battery life and controller attachments can be fixed with other options but that's more money for a device that still has the huge problem of updates and a disorganized UI. These problems made me just return mine to get my money back.

Saw the Lenovo legion Go and the MSi Claw and the Asus Roc Ally at Jb Hi-Fi Chatswood yesterday and the Lenovo one looks the best

Just got mine at target for Black Friday for Black Friday 350. The big boy is chunky, and I still use my oled deck more due to it being a lil smaller less strain for my arms.

What's that in the background with all those different Apple watch looking things going on?

I just got a Legion Go! and I can't wait to use it! I also got it on sale at amazon for $472. If I don't like it I will send it back and get a steam deck

I love my Lego. Its such an underrated device. Its hard to choose a handheld when it comes to price and functionality. The Lego has more power than the steamdeck and bigger screen. Ally x has vrr but cant be used on oled monitors without flicker. And that higher ram doesnt give a major significant fps change to justify the price and past warranty issues others have had on the ally x. Its a niche market, imagine what this will be like 5 to 10 years from now. The Lego just made sense. Great video. They all serve a purpose to keep us entertained. Keep on playing....

I have the Legion Go, Asus Rog Ally, Steam Deck, and, of course, modded Oled Switch.

The Legion Go was my daily driver but, that borderless window in some games is causing issues lately for me. Also seems Lenovo has stopped updating the software or even updating the Drivers before folks say it's up to AMD it's not the GPU that both the Asus Rog and, Legion is using are not fully supported by AMD which is why both companies got a good deal on the GPU. So it's up to Asus and, Lenovo to update the drivers or you could side-load the official AMD drivers but, Windows updates will remove it.

This is what I want from a pc handheld. A Legion Go size 1440p OLED HDR screen at 120hz. I know this is not a good take for most but, Asus did the best job of handling the Windows OS front-facing speakers that sound like Asus Rogs trackpads like Steam Deck and, of course a decent size 3 and, a half-hour battery. 32GB or 64GB drr5 ram and, a gpu equivalent to a 4060.

I absolutely agree with you on the PS Portal controller being the best. I've been using a steam deck for 2 years now and I used Chiaki to remote play to the PS5 and it truly is great. We bought a second hand PS portal not long ago so my son could play Astro remotely and I decided to test it as well and yeah, having the PS5 controller on a remote device is just amazing. I love my steam deck and it's still my primary device, but having the PS portal has me using the PS5 more and more each day. I have no desire to use Chiaki anymore now that I get a bigger screen and haptics on the Portal.

I used to have that same Bluetooth speaker you got in the background with the wood grain, I lost it in the forest fire but it's cool to see maybe I'll go reorder one of those again I know the companies switch to making other products but I'm sure I could still find it if I wanted. I think they started making microphones from what I remember.

Though its underpowered and underperforms compared to the other handhelds the switch is still my favorite. Im more of console person i don't like fiddling with games to try to make it work which i heard the downsides of the pc handheld you have to do with some games. I have been thinking getting a steamdeck but I'm wondering about waiting as heard some rumors another one may come out next year.

Love my modded Legion Go. Has a 2280 4 TB, 25000 145W battery pack that I can slide to lock on vertical mount i repurposed from a portable mophie phone battery pack. Two 180 usb c to usb c help with cable management.
Yes its beefy has extra weight. It turned into a lap held gaming.

Only wish it had oculink port.

Great review I learned something new. The way technology is today the Switch2 would have to have superlative specs over any other handheld for someone to purchase it with the way emulation is. I’m afraid that soon as I purchase a Lego or Steam Deck the Steam Deck 2 will come out a month or so later and I’d be really pissed. 😂

Would you consider the Legion a top notch better than the Ally

If the Playstation Portal works like that, then can it truly be called a "Portable Gaming Console", compared to the likes of The Steam Deck, Switch, Legion Go or Rog Ally? Strikes me as a shitty move by Sony, trying to cash in on the portable console market, while, at the same time, making sure that you have to buy a PS5 also. That works out as being more expensive than any of the other competitors, while also being worse, since you can't play anything unless you own a PS5.

Can you do voice dictation instead of using a keyboard on the screen?
