Love that these machines are beefier with larger screens than the stuff we grew up with.

Nobody mentioned in the video that the steam deck oled has a 90hz display and the lenovo legion go has a 144hz display. I thought you guys as a tech channel would have mentioned these, they are pretty important. People just don't know how to use Windows 11, I use it every single day and I don't have any issues on my desktop PC and on my Asus ROG Ally.

Going from the Steam Deck to the Legion Go in an ease of use case is so refreshing. I'm never going back to Linux again.

Steam Deck has the best seamless user out-of-the-box experience out of all the portable gaming devices I own. 👍

I bought a $1, 400 laptop in order to work and be able to play decent looking games such as Forza 4, God of War, Witcher 3, Street Fighter 4 and Tekken 8. 2 days ago, I bought a Legion Go for $749, and it does the same thing. The only difgerence is it doesn have a mouse and keyboard, so buying an additional $80 USB-C dock, I connected my PC's Mouse, Keyboard and Monitor, and what do you know? I have a full gaming PC for half the price. Legion Go is the best Windows 11 handheld gaming/PC right now.

As a mobile DJ, I love the form factor on the Legion Go and the fact that you can take off the controller is a big W for me when I go DJing, so I'll choose Legion Go 🔥

I just ordered my first Steam Deck, a refurbished 512 GB model. I'm beyond excited.

I have had no issues with my Legion go. No slow downs or crashes.

I have both and my experience is completely different. It’s NOT true on Steamdeck you have a smooth experience. Often also games checked as tested or optimized will not run properly, you will need to change graphics settings or install alternative “proton” (a sort of WINE) even if great part of non tested games will run great… It’s true it IS more console like, and very pleasant to use. On Legion Go I have some popups but according to what you have installed and you can disable them almost always. No issue at all until now, bugs will be solved with updates as happened for Steamdeck at launch. More, Legion go is much more powerful, Steamdeck allow you to play smoothly AAA games until 2021. Last thing, for a lot of you the screen size can make the difference, my eyes thanks me where I need to read in games (I like card games and this happen frequently). So they have both pros and cons that make them equivalent. You have just to choose according to your playing style. I’d like a Steamdeck whit 8.8 inches to be honest 😂.

I disagree I own both and both systems are excellent at what they do for me. It seems like you're not giving the Legion go a chance to shine at what it's good at. I don't have a problem with any of my games that I play steam OS works wonderful on here, and it's an immolation beast!! Just go buy it you will love it

My STEAM LIBRARY is growing.

STEAM DECK offers immediate, seamless access to it.

I bought Lenovo Go at launch because of the big screen, Mouse mode, FPS mode, Tablet mode and other things.

How things have changed. I used to listen to podcasts in the early to mid 2000s, and everyone said, "know body wants a console/pc experience on the go, that's stupid" i was like "i do, and how about a bigger device" "but but... it can't fit in my pocket. " Was the rebuttal....lol

I own a Legion go, and I can tell you is frustrating. I was excited about the fps mode and believe me when I tell you it's a mess. It doesn't translate well with the games and each game has a different controller set up very different from each other. Halo has a different set up than Crisis and COD etc. Other than that, is an impressive system except for the Windows 11 headaches.

I wish the Steam Deck upgrade got a Z1 Extreme CPU and not just the OLED screen and bigger battery size.

The Legion go will do well when steamOS launches for other handhelds. I just wonder if the optimizations are OS or hardware.

The comparison points out the problems with the Lenovo Go device, but misses on some key downsides of the Steam Deck, which makes me believe that it was sponsored by Valve:
- Less processing power
- The fact that with Steam Deck you can play less games compared to the Lenovo: there are many more games for windows compared to linux
- The screen resolution
