Exactly the video i needed. I'm having a race on a track i've never drove on before this week-end.

This is so damn awesome, thank you Suellio. The breakdowns are incredibly helpful in learning these aspects of racing that take you from watch track guides and being fast to being your own racer and I can't thank you enough. Yesterday I was finally able to practice and intentionally induce oversteer (on the breaks) for the first time thanks to your video and because of this I was able to finally practice consistently inducing understeer and everything suddenly made sense. I was instantly feel like I can take higher risks in being closer to the edge of grip because now I actually can control that balance and know what to do if I feel the car going.

(For anyone reading this wanting to do the same thing but struggling to induce the oversteer on breaks, I was able to do it when someone explained to me that locking the inside rear before the inside front would cause understeer, it made me realize that most default break bias settings are extremely safe to prevent inexperienced drivers oversteering all the time as understeering is "safer". Set the break bias as far back as you can and feel the difference in how much more responsive the front becomes, its wild!)

Your minimum speed for turn 2 was about 10kph slower when you took turn 1 flat out. Is it worth sacrificing the time at turn 2 and the consequent straight, for the marginal gains taking turn 1 flat out? You have to brake immediately after turn 1. When you take it flat out, you compromise your line and car balance on entry.

I love your videos, always superinformative, even after watching your courses (and rewatching, and rewatching and rewatching)

It looks like a fun track. Love the fast-med corners with a med-hard break zone after it. Looks like hella fun!

Are you worried that if and when you crash you may hurt yourself? Have you been hitting the gym and doing some workout specific for racing? Good quality video!

Addressing the frustration we feel in rookie iracing trying for our class D…..as raw beginners make stupid moves like trying to pass inside a tight chicane and getting booted off, and then getting pissy and screaming at you for taking them out…..it’s because they have no fear of damaging the car or themselves, as you mention here. In other words, their lack of fear makes them act recklessly
